When There Were Blue Skies is a small collection of tunes written during, and inspired by the changes we all experienced during the Covid-19 Pandemic. It depicts the nostalgic sounds of times before, while expressing the feelings of Brittany’s personal life during those times and her musical pursuits post 2020. We want to say a special thank you to Owen, Kate, Christopher Gillstrap, and Matt for all your donated time and hard work. The message we hope to bring to the listener is one of connection and joy; to remind us that we are not alone. With patience, love, learning to let go, we step onward and remember when there were blue skies.
